Best Luxury Pools in Singapore

When it comes to hotels, one of the first things that we look for is a nice pool that meets several pre-requisites such as luxury, comfort and peace and quiet. While other people look for bars and room space, we prefer to be in the water as much as possible. With a little research, here is what we have found as the Top 6 pools in Singapore. Let us know in the comments below if we have missed one off the list! Remember, this is just our opinion s happy to hear them all!

Mandarin Oriental Singapore 

The Mandarin Oriental in Singapore presents a stylish swimming pool and deck area that has been tastefully designed by renowned hospitality interior design firm Buz Design and St Legere Design International of Hong Kong. Located on the 5th floor of the hotel, the area has been fashionably transformed to offer guests a sophisticated and luxurious respite from the city. The pool area is surrounded by lush tropical landscape and has been cleverly raised to different levels to emphasize the spectacular views of Singapore’s city skyline. Lining the upper deck of the swimming pool are five well-appointed, Oriental-inspired private cabanas. Each one is equipped with controlled dimmer lighting, a ceiling fan, iPod dock, Wi-Fi connectivity and an on-call button for food and beverage service.

Type of pools: One outdoor 25-metre swimming pool and a children’s pool. 

Cabanas: Yes. Five well-appointed, Oriental-inspired private cabanas are available on first-come-first-serve basis. Each cabana is equipped with controlled dimmer lighting, a ceiling fan, iPod dock, Wi-Fi connectivity and an on-call button for food and beverage service.

Jacuzzi: No

Swim-up Pool Bar: Yes in the adults-only section

Pool Access: Pool access only for in-house staying guests.

Complimentary: Sun lotion, newspapers, magazines,  fresh juice shots and smoothies as light refreshments for guests.

Extras: Children’s pool is equipped with bubble jet water features.

For Adults: There is no adult-only pool available but the main outdoor pool is a 25-metre swimming pool, good for laps early and late during the day.

For Kids: There is a purpose-built children’s pool with bubble jet water features, which is surrounded by family cabanas and shielded from the main pool to provide more privacy for families. The children’s pool is equipped with bubble jet water features.

Marina Bay Sands 

Visit Singapore’s most iconic hotel for the world’s largest rooftop Infinity Pool, award-winning dining, and a wide range of shopping and entertainment options. A room here is not cheap, but we can assure you that it is pure luxury and with Gardens of the Bay next door, you will have plenty of things to do.

Number of pools: 2 Pools, a 150-metre infinity swimming pool and is the world’s largest outdoor pool at that height. The Infinity Pool is split into three sections: an adults-only area, a family-friendly section, and a dedicated children’s pool.

Type of pools: One outdoor 25-metre swimming pool and a children’s pool

Cabanas: No

Jacuzzi: Yes, 3 Jacuzzis overlooking Gardens by the Bay

Swim-up Pool Bar: No

Pool Access: Pool access only for in-house staying guests and a hotel key card (one per person) must be presented for entry.

Complimentary: Towels and sunloungers.

Extras: Sauna & steam bath available to hotel guests at the Fitness Club

For Adults: The Infinity Pool is split into three sections with a dedicated adults-only area.

For Kids: There is a family-friendly section, and a dedicated children’s pool. There is no wading pool for toddlers.

Shangri-La Rasa Sentosa is the only beachfront resort in Singapore. It is just 15 minutes away from the city centre, with rooms facing views of the South China Sea, landscaped garden and pools.

This popular family-friendly resort on Sentosa island offers a wide variety of activities for families and sun-seekers alike – from soaking in the sun and taking a dip in the natural water swimming pools, to enjoying daily pool games, making a splash with sea sports, taking a scenic stroll on the resort grounds, or visiting the nearby Fort Siloso for a piece of Singapore’s history, there is something for everyone!

Type of pools: 1 adults-only pool, 2 kids pool with 3 water slides.

For Adults: There is one main pool with an adults only section that includes an outdoor jacuzzi

For Kids: There is one kids pool that is more shallow in depth and one kids pool with 3 water slides and a giant water bucket feature. There is also a splash pad.

The 3 water slides have a canopy that provides protection from the sun. Life jackets are available at the towel stand.

Sofitel Singapore Sentosa Resort & Spa

The Sofitel Singapore Sentosa is a little getaway on the Sentosa island, close to other resorts in the area. Like all Sofitel hotels, you know you are getting a dash of luxury and the pool is something that you reminds me more of Bali than a bustling Singapore.

Number of pools: 3

Type of pools: 1 pool at the hotel and 2 pools at the spa. Sofitel Spa pools include a Floatation pool and Lap pool. The Lap pool is a 33-metre long black pearlescent tiled pool.

You can also visit the nearby Tanjong Beach, just a short walk away for the sand and sea.

Cabanas: There are cabanas around the hotel pool. Keeping in mind with social distancing, there is reservation needed for the cabana (free).

Jacuzzi: No

Swim-up Pool Bar: No

Pool Access: Pool access is only for in-house resort guests only.

Complimentary: Towels for guests.

For Adults: There is no adults only pools

For Kids: All pools can have access for the kids. There is no wading pool for toddlers.

For Kids: There is a Kids pool called the Children’s Play Pool with slides, water features, and even a man-made “beach” for the little ones.There is also an Adventure Pool, studded with social pods that mimic tiny verdant islands and a Lazy River Pool where you can sweep away on the gentle swells of water while surrounded by lush, luxuriant foliage.

There is the Pool Bar situated right beside the Pamukkale Pool, serving classic cocktails
like Blood Orange Mojito or Tropical Lychee BelliniHappy Camper is a vintage Volkswagen food truck within the Pool Deck vicinity, offering
light refreshments and quick bites such as shaker fries, chips, ice cream etc.
