Chalet Berezka: Russian Restaurant in Dubai with a view at The Pointe

Chalet Berezka, Russian Restaurant in Dubai

In such a multicultural city like Dubai with a big population of Russian Expats, expect to find good Russian Cuisine available! As a fan myself of Russian cuisine, don’t ask why it was a no brainer to go visit Chalet Berezka on The Pointe on the Palm of Dubai to try out their take on Russian dishes I know of.

First of all, Chalet Berezka describes itself as the Russian soul, food and culture in the Middle East. It offers entertainment and karaoke nights until early morning hours for an international audience, not just Russian beats! Its main USP is the fact that it opens daily until 5 AM, a rarity in Dubai!

The restaurant has two floors, with two completely different vibes. Downstairs being more friendly to families and day time eating and the second floor is more like a nightclub. The outdoors area on the second floor is the main interesting spot to sit to have incredible views of the Atlantis and low comfy seating, moody lighting, a perfect set up for shisha and casual drinks as much as a dinner in between friends or even for a date.

Enjoy shisha, drinks, partying or simply joining the karaoke! The place closes at 5 AM which is quite unusual for Dubai.

Quite a night club / bar set up!

The Lamb Cheburek: ABSOLUTE favourite item of the menu and whole dining experience. Very Russian and local dish, it is a deep-fried turnover with a filling of minced meat. If you know me by now, I am indeed a huge fan of deep-fried food and this is no exception!

Duck Pelmenis: They were good, but felt like they were like dumplings Asian style more than Russian style pelmenis like I was expecting. If you are familiar with Asian dumplings, make sure you ask for the original Russian style pelmeni!

Chicken Shashlik, chicken is chicken, right? This one has an extra and just enough amount of fat which made the chicken tasty and more desirable in my personal preference of chicken! I usually avoid chicken but with fat, I absolutely prefer it that way.

Berezka Signature: This desert is, like they say, a sweet miracle floating in a luxurious smoky avalanche! Layer by layer, find some almond crumble at the bottom, passion fruit jelly in the middle, and creamy mango puree on top. The whole thing gets prinkled with mango sauce and decorated with crunchy meringue. We were all quite full but definitely save more space for this sharing desert!

Fantastic view from the balcony on the second level where we had our dinner experience. During the day as much as the night, this hotspot is must to snap your Dubai memories on the Palm.
