We were greeted by the friendly staff and we were ushered into our seats. The restaurant connected to a bar area, so there were great tunes coming from that direction all night without being too loud. Spirito‘s menu, all hailing from Brazilian influence, was full of variation and many items we had not heard of before. Make sure you speak to the staff, as they can recommend you the best dishes, and suggest some of the national favourites for you.
We started on some entrees, having some squid and chicken croquettes.
Our main course consisted of gourmet steak and fries (not any kind, they are polenta fries, so yummy!) and a prawn curry and coconut curry to eat with a side of brown rice. We were officially in heaven. The steak was cooked impeccably and the fries that went with it were something we had not experienced before. The prawn curry, was full of flavours, just the right amount of spice, perfectly complimenting our steak meal.
We are stuffed after those meals, but the waiter “strongly encouraged” us to try one of their famous desserts, the Bo Bo cake. I promise you, this is one of the best desserts I have ever tasted. Even though I couldn’t eat any more, after my first bite, Thuymi got close to none as I devoured this delicious cake. We enjoyed everything with a bottle of their house wine, which we went for the red. Delicious! The service was exceptional all night, and the manager also went around checking if everyone was happy of their experience.
I suppose for us, a measure of a quality is if I would come back and sit through the exact same experience again. Based on that, I would definitely come back and eat that all again.
Tip: Note that there is free valet parking, don’t forget to ask to the staff to stamp approve your parking ticket.
Thank you to the Spirito Team to invite us to try the restaurant. All pictures and opinions are ours.
