Cheap? What? Yasss really, for The Dubai Mall, we have found a place that won’t make your wallet hurt. During weekends we love to go to the gym and then try a new spot to have breakfast and be as productive as possible. As we trained downtown, we headed out to The Dubai Mall and happily, the mornings are always a bit quieter than afternoon chaos, so we were happy to venture that way.
The place looks great, the type of place I love taking pictures of. Loved the vegetable cart at the entrance with tons of trees.
After being seating by a huge window’ we got down the most important part of the day, the ordering of the food. We always try to eat as healthy as we can if it is possible and we were pleasantly surprised how many healthy options there were on the menu. Really surprised at the low price for location and big portions, which made Mitch a happy man!
To start we took the four berry salad. Seriously so freaking good because of the orange honey. I am SO going to buy orange honey and put it over all my breakfast fruits. Then of course we had to take some the Eggs Benedict, Shashuka, which is poached eggs with labneh, olives, tomato, bell pepper sauce and za’atar pita bread.
This place is ideal for breakfast with a view on the fountains (they are off during the day)! People watching is great from here. Even if you go inside and face the mall, you could people watch for hours.
The service is good, no complaints, but we can see how service can be slow if it is fully packed, so much capacity!

We didn’t like that we needed to get to the part of the restaurant that was in and facing the mall, because we needed to do some work on laptops and needed a plug.
Bill for two is around 200 AED if you go full on 2 mains, one smaller dish and a drink each
