MASON Pattaya: Design Hotel sets foot on Pattaya’s beachfront

MASON Pattaya Review, Design Hotel

Pattaya isn’t known as a luxury destination but since MASON has arrived on its beachfront, it is raising the bar in beautiful hotels in the city. MASON Pattaya is the latest project from award-winning studio Vaslab. Pattaya is among Thailand’s favourite beach destinations of visitors and the arrival of such property is well welcomed by vacationers looking for such luxury.

The hotel has 35 expansive pool villas, including a 90sqm Garden Pool Villa, 154sqm Duplex Grand Pool Villa, 168sqm Grand Pool Villa and a 180sqm elevated Double Grand Pool Villa.

After spending two nights at the hotel, we absolutely were in love with our room. The villa is incredible and could be a place you can live in permanently in. The massive bathroom and incredible layout are to die for. The breakfast was very enjoyable but we were too busy running around, we were not able to actually enjoy the pool, nor did we could try lunch and dinner at the property, so wouldn’t be able to advise on that. The welcome at the hotel was extremely warm and the staff was always responsive and quick to have a buggy ready when we called for it to get to reception but unfortunately we felt the service were not up to par for the luxury you would expect from such type of hotels. The staff still were all not perfect English speakers and there were a few occasions we did have some misunderstanding, but nothing too major.

The main pool for all guests is absolutely WONDERFUL, a place you must spend some time even if you have your own private pool. I quickly went to shoot a few photos because… well, look at this. How can you not? As for the gym, location on the same floor as the pool was quite hot because of the sunlight coming in the area. I thought it was way too hot to be in there working out.

MASON Pattaya offers activities that are complimentary. I made sure to wake up early morning to participate in the yoga session which the instructor gave us an epic session. I particularly liked that she was very hands-on to fix us when our poses were not right.

The stay was great, although we did not spend as much time as we wanted to there. It is definitely on the list to be coming back to enjoy it more! Although, maybe because of our photos, you might be booking there? Let us know what you think of it and of course, do use our affiliate links to book your stay!
