Things to Do during Singapore’s F1 Grand Prix Race weekend

Here is the must-read list you need to know when wanting to fill your race weekend full of fun activities, brunches and fun. The race is back again after two years and a whole lot of covid, so the city is ready to make up for the lost time by having plenty ready. But don’t think that the events will be limited to the Marina Bay circuit, there are plenty of things around the city to enjoy.

Watching the F1 race

Well obviously of course, but it is an action-packed weekend with Practice, Qualifiers and the Race too. There is plenty going on with Max Verstappen about to take out the title, and the constructor’s championship is hotting up too.

Check out the F1 Concerts Line Ups

Possibly the biggest draw card for many of the locals who attend the event. There are a ton of acts around the event, including Green Day, Black Eyed Peas, Suede and TLC for the 2023 line up. There are also many local acts and other places that are hosting more singers.

Mandala Weekender

Based at the Marina Bay Sands Convention Centre, Mandala Club had a huge party that has VIP and public access, so anyone can come and watch. They had massive events for Sept 30 to Oct 2 with some HUGE artists such as Delis, Armand van Helden and Louie Vega, Basement Jaxx and Rudimental just to name a few. In 2023, it was pretty nice with their takeover of the Mandarin Oriental Singapore Pool Area where they hosted DJs and guests to watch the race and dance away!

Glamboyant – Kampong Gelam

A 10-day festival starting well before the main event, Kampong Gelam is a bunch of food trucks and activities that are a must-see to go and check out. At Aliwal Street there are over a dozen food vendors selling anything from Burgers, Mac N Cheese and Satays.

It’ll be held across five main areas: Aliwal Street Carpark, Baghdad Street, Haji Lane, Sultan Gate, and Sultan Gate Park

There is also an outdoor cinema tucked away behind the food truck that will show classics such as Jumanji The Next Level and The Matrix.

Amber Lounge

When you are talking exclusive, it doesn’t get much more exclusive than this. The Amber Lounge hosts an after-party at The Fullerton Bay Hotel this October 1st and 2nd. With Fatman Scoop, DJ Oliver Heldens and Swedish singer-songwriter John Martin hitting the decks, it will be truly epic. And there is always a chance to see the drivers post-race!

Other Events

As usual, most teams and brands host their private events and fan events. If you can fin out what’s happening – these are always the best! here are a few that we participated during the 2023 F1 event with Ferrari and other brands!
