Travel Photography

Remember those days when you were young and the first camera you had was probably your external webcam? Then you were happy to have a small point and shoot? haha. Well in 2005, Thuymi had her first ever camera, a Canon PowerShot SD400. It’s in 2009 that finally the purchase of a DSLR happened with a Nikon D5000. With the passion of photography that had become stronger, many lens purchased happened since then. Although today, we own a Canon EOS M6 (Review to come!) and an upgrade made in 2015 last with a Nikon D7000. We sometimes test other cameras and brands, but have been lucky enough to also shoot with the Canon 6D and Canon 5D Mark IV using the 16-35 mm lens (a beautiful wide angle).

When going into adventures, we pull out our GoPro HERO5 Black. As for Instagram photos on @AdventureFaktory, when we are on the road and can’t transfer photos on time, we often post content shot with an iPhone 7 Plus and iPhone 8 Plus. We also fly drones, owning a DJI Mavic Pro & DJI Spark. We also have a DJI Phantom 3 sitting in the closet.

Hope you will enjoy this photo section where we will document the gear we use or recommend places to capture  incredible photos. We are trying many cameras and photo equipments and will use this section to share with you our honest thoughts and results that will hopefully save you time in your buying decision process!

Please do suggest us photo gadgets to try and also share your thoughts and experience as well. (Photo here shot on Canon 5D Mark IV)
